ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE AT YOUR HOTEL IN LIMA FOLLOWING YOUR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT TO PERU!
Upon your arrival in Lima, please look for your PEVITOURS host, who will be holding a sign displaying your name. We understand that after a long flight, you may feel fatigued, so we aim to alleviate the stress of navigation by transporting you directly to your hotel.
DAY 2: CITY TOURS IN THE CITY OF LIMA-CUSCO.
Pick up at your accommodation and tour of the city of Lima, where you will visit the Miraflores area. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the charming Parque del Amor and the emblematic sculpture "El Beso", which offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
Next, we will take a panoramic tour of Huaca Pucllana, a fascinating pre-Incan archaeological site. We will also visit the exclusive El Olivar Forest in San Isidro, a natural oasis in the middle of the city.
Next, we'll explore Lima's Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stops include Plaza San Martín, surrounded by colonial architecture; Jirón de la Unión, a pedestrian thoroughfare steeped in history; La Merced Church, an example of Lima Baroque; and Plaza Mayor, home to the Lima Cathedral and Government Palace.
The tour will end at the Monastery of San Francisco, famous for its catacombs.
In the afternoon, at the appropriate time, transfer to the airport and departure to the city of Cusco.

DAY 03: CITY TOURS IN CUSCO CITY + 4 INCA RUINS.
Free morning. At 12:30, I will pick you up at the hotel to embark on a guided tour of the historic city of Cusco, where we will explore the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun.
Afterwards, we will leave the city to visit the Inca sites of Qenqo, Tambomachay, Puca Pucará and the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
- Qenqo: This archaeological site features fascinating carved rock formations and underground canals, believed to have been used by the Incas for ceremonial and religious purposes.
- Tambomachay: Known as the "Baths of the Inca," Tambomachay is home to water fountains that were used for rituals and purification. Its architecture and hydraulic engineering are worthy of admiration.
- Puca Pucará: This ancient military fortress guards the access to Cusco and is characterized by its reddish stones.
- Sacsayhuamán: This impressive fortress stands out for its enormous, precisely carved stones that make up its walls. It also offers panoramic views of Cusco.
At the end of the visit, we will return to the city of Cusco.

DAY 4: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN EXCURSION.
At 4:30 a.m., we'll begin our exciting day with pickup from your hotel to begin our excursion to the impressive Rainbow Mountain from Cusco. We'll board a comfortable tour bus for approximately two hours south to the charming town of Cusipata, where we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast to prepare us for the day ahead.
After breakfast, we will continue our drive for an hour to reach the trailhead known as Phulawasipata, where we will begin our hike. This journey will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours until we reach Vinicunca Pass, the famous viewpoint of the Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to appreciate the impressive landscape characteristic of the Andes, as well as its varied flora and fauna, especially the llamas and alpacas, which add a special touch to the experience.
Afterward, we'll return along the same route to the starting point of our hike (Phulawasipata), where our transportation will be waiting with open arms to take us back to Cusipata. In Cusipata, we'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch to replenish our energy for the rest of the day. After lunch, we'll begin our return trip to Cusco, where we'll spend the night in the city.
Upon arrival in Cusco, the evening will be free, giving us the opportunity to explore and enjoy the city's beauty at our own pace, discovering its charms and immersing ourselves in its rich culture.
DAY 5: EXCURSION TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS-NIGHT IN MACHUPICCHU TOWN.
After breakfast at 07:45, pick up from the hotel to depart for the excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, which includes a series of picturesque villages, agricultural terraces and archaeological sites. We will have the opportunity to haggle with the vendors and explore the typical indigenous market of Pisac, where a Catholic mass will be celebrated on Sunday in Quechua, the native language.
Lunch will take place at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon, we will pass through the villages of Calca and Urubamba until we reach the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to protect the entrance to this part of the valley from possible enemies from the lowland forests. This impressive structure consists of a series of superimposed terraces of carved stones, accessible via long stairs. We will have the opportunity to walk through the charming streets of the nearby town, which was a religious and agricultural center during the Inca Empire, and thus better understand the military strategy against possible invasions.
On our way back to Cusco, we will visit the picturesque Andean town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Tupac Inca Yupanqui are located. There, we will be able to admire the well-preserved Inca Wall in the Main Plaza and visit the beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations, which features interesting frescoes in the portico.
At the end of the excursion, transfer to the train station, departure to Machupicchu town, Aguas Calientes.
DAY 6: MACHUPICCHU THE LOST CITY OF THE INCAS -CUSCO
The day begins early in the morning, when we gather to transfer to the bus station. The excitement is palpable as we head towards the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, a place that arouses the curiosity of many travelers and adventurers. The bus ride to the lost city of the Incas we prepare for a 30-minute bus ride that will take us along a winding 6-kilometer road, surrounded by lush nature.
Finally, we arrive at Machu Picchu, where the majesty of the Inca Citadel welcomes us. We will participate in a guided tour to explore this archaeological site that is a World Heritage Site. The guide will take us to see the Main Plaza, a central space that reflects the grandeur of Inca architecture. Then, we will head to the Circular Tower, a place full of mystery and astronomical significance.
We cannot miss visiting the Sacred Intiwatana, a ritual stone believed to have been used for agriculture and astronomical observation. We will continue our tour to the Royal Quarters, where nobles and dignitaries stayed, and marvel at the Temple of the Three Windows, which offers breathtaking views and exceptional architectural design. We will also explore several cemeteries that tell us stories about the funerary practices of the Incas.
In the afternoon, transfer to the train station and return to the city of Cusco.

DAY 7: CUSCO TO PUNO BY TOURIST BUS ROUTE OF THE SUN.
07:00 After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to embark towards the city of Puno along the "Route of the Sun", a journey that offers breathtaking views of the Andean landscape and Peru's rich cultural heritage. This full-day bus tour includes five key stops at historical and cultural sites:
- Pucará: The first stop is at the Pucará Museum, where you can explore the artifacts and history of the pre-Incan civilization, as well as admire the famous Pukará bulls.
- La Raya: At the highest point of the journey, you can enjoy stunning views of the Andes, capturing the natural beauty of the region.
- Sicuani: We will pause for lunch in Sicuani, providing a moment to relax and sample the local cuisine in a charming Andean village.
- Raqchi: We will visit the impressive Temple of Wiracocha, an important archaeological site that reflects the architectural splendor of the Inca Empire.
- Andahuaylillas: We will end the tour stops with a visit to the Church of San Pedro in Andahuaylillas, known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas" for its exquisite interior artwork.
The trip will end in Puno, the city of folklore for your next adventure. Along the way, you will enjoy guided commentary and comfortable amenities on board, making your experience unforgettable.

DAY 8: LAKE TITICACA EXCURSION UROS AND TAQUILE.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will take a full-day motorboat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca, heading to the unique Floating Islands of the Uros, ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe. These Andean natives have built their own islands, periodically adding new layers of totora, a unique plant, as well as their houses and boats.
The motorboat ride will then continue to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and original social systems as well as a refined hand-weaving technique passed down through generations. After enjoying lunch at a local Taquile inn, you will take a walk through the various hills and archaeological sites of this 6km-long island. In the afternoon, you will return and transfer to your selected hotel, leaving the night free to enjoy.

DAY 9: COPACABANA SUN ISLAND - LA PAZ.
06:30 a.m. Transfer to the bus station for departure to La Paz. During the journey, we will visit picturesque towns such as Juli, Pomata, Yunguyo, Casani, and Copacabana, crossing the border into Bolivia. We will explore the Cathedral and the Main Square. Afterward, we will board a boat to sail across Lake Titicaca, heading to the famous Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun), where we will see the Garden and the Terraces of Inca Time. We will cross the Tikina Strait to reach the port of Chua, where we will board a bus to our selected hotel in La Paz.
Arrival in La Paz is estimated at around 6:30 p.m.
The evening will be free to enjoy personal activities.
DAY 10: CITY TOURS AND VISIT TO VALLEY OF THE MOON
At 9:00 a.m., after breakfast, guests will be picked up from their hotel. During this tour, we will explore this wonderful city, where we will appreciate its cultural, historical, architectural, and natural richness. We will visit Plaza Murillo, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Church of San Francisco, the Jaén Street Museum, and the Witches' Market, where locals purchase essential items for ritual ceremonies, such as the Challa and offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth). After our visit to the city center, we will head to the Valley of the Moon, passing through the residential neighborhoods in the southern part of the city. We will have the afternoon free to enjoy at our own pace.
DAY 11 : TIWANAKU TOURS
In the morning, we will visit the ruins of Tiwanaku, the capital of a civilization that emerged around 700 BC, located 72 kilometers from the city of La Paz. During its heyday, Tiwanaku was considered the largest capital in the world and is credited with being the origin of American civilization. These pre-Inca ruins have sparked numerous archaeological debates about their age, and the latest radiocarbon dating indicates they date back to 1580 BC.
During the excursion, we will explore the following sites:
- Kalasasaya Temple: This temple served to accurately observe the changing seasons and the 365-day solar year.
- Semi-Subterranean Temple: Located in front of the main entrance to the Kalasasaya Temple.
- Akapana Pyramid: Measuring 194 meters long, 182 meters wide, and 18 meters high, this structure is composed of seven stepped terraces.
- Puerta del Sol: This is the most emblematic monument of Tiahuanaco, carved from a single block weighing 10 tons.
- Benett Monolith: Considered the largest monument in the complex, it measures approximately 7 meters high and weighs around 20 tons.
After completing our tour, we'll return to La Paz and transfer to the selected hotel. We'll have the afternoon free to enjoy at our own pace.
DAY 12: LA PAZ-UYUNI SALT FLAT-SAN JUAN
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Uyuni. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our office, where we will have free time until the tour begins.
We'll depart from Uyuni for the world's largest salt desert in a 4x4 vehicle (Land Cruiser). During the journey, we'll visit:
- Train Graveyard: A place where you can see old locomotives and trains.
- Colchani Village: Located on the shores of the vast Salar, this is the main entrance to the salt desert, known as "Puerto Seco." Here you can see the intense artisanal salt extraction activity. The locals will show us the process of drying, grinding, and packaging the salt, ready for consumption.
- Salt Hotel: Located in the heart of the Salar, this hotel, built entirely from salt blocks, offers stunning views of the salt flats. Although it ceased to operate as a hotel a few years ago, it can now be visited as a museum.
- Incahuasi Island (Fish Island): Located in the middle of the salt desert, this island is famous for its numerous giant cacti, which reach heights of over 10 meters. From its summit, you can enjoy spectacular views of the salt flats. After our visit to the island, we will enjoy lunch, and in the afternoon, we will continue to the town of San Juan, where we will spend the night in family homes.
DAY 13: RED LAGOON AND OLLAGUE VOLCANO
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will begin our exciting adventure to the impressive Laguna Colorada. Along the way, we will make several stops to explore the active Ollague volcano, as well as the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, and Honda, which are home to a remarkable population of flamingos. At midday, we will take a well-deserved break for lunch, and in the afternoon, we will continue our fascinating tour through the vast Siloli Desert. There, we will have the opportunity to marvel at an extraordinary rock formation known as the Stone Tree. Finally, we will reach the striking Laguna Colorada, located within the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Park. We will have time for a walk around the lagoon, where we will appreciate the impressive number of flamingos that inhabit this place. The lagoon's astonishing red color comes from the sediments of zooplankton, phytoplankton, and other microorganisms that enrich it. At nightfall, we'll stay here and enjoy a delicious dinner, rounding out a day filled with natural wonders.
DAY 14:GREEN LAGOON AND LICANCABUR VOLCANO-UYUNI.
Today, we'll begin our adventure very early, at 5:00 a.m., to make the most of our tour. Our first stop will be in the volcanic area, popularly known as "Sol de Mañana," where we'll enjoy the impressive geysers and fumaroles that characterize this area. Then, we'll head to the Polques hot springs, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing our journey.
Afterwards, we will head to the beautiful "Blanca" and "Verde" lagoons, located at the foot of the majestic Licancabur volcano, at an altitude of 4,350 meters above sea level. The Verde lagoon is particularly famous for its vibrant green color, which is the result of the high magnesium content in the region's geological formations.
After exploring Laguna Verde and enjoying the views, we'll begin our return to Uyuni. Along the way, we'll stop for lunch and a chance to recharge our batteries. After our well-deserved rest, we'll continue our journey, passing through the impressive Valley of Rocks and the picturesque towns of Villa Alota, Kulpinaka, and San Cristóbal.
Finally, we'll arrive in Uyuni, where we'll spend the night. Upon arrival, we'll be transferred to our exclusive hotel.
DAY 15 : FLIGHT FROM UYUNI TO LA PAZ.
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport and departure to La Paz.
