Upon your arrival in Lima, please look for your PEVITOURS host, who will be holding a sign displaying your name. We understand that after a long flight, you may feel fatigued, so we aim to alleviate the stress of navigation by transporting you directly to your hotel.
Pick up at your accommodation and tour of the city of Lima, where you will visit the Miraflores area. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the charming Parque del Amor and the emblematic sculpture "El Beso", which offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
Next, we will take a panoramic tour of Huaca Pucllana, a fascinating pre-Incan archaeological site. We will also visit the exclusive El Olivar Forest in San Isidro, a natural oasis in the middle of the city.
Next, we'll explore Lima's Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stops include Plaza San Martín, surrounded by colonial architecture; Jirón de la Unión, a pedestrian thoroughfare steeped in history; La Merced Church, an example of Lima Baroque; and Plaza Mayor, home to the Lima Cathedral and Government Palace.
The tour will end at the Monastery of San Francisco, famous for its catacombs.
In the afternoon, at the appropriate time, transfer to the airport and departure to the city of Cusco.

Free morning. At 12:30, I will pick you up at the hotel to embark on a guided tour of the historic city of Cusco, where we will explore the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun.
Afterwards, we will leave the city to visit the Inca sites of Qenqo, Tambomachay, Puca Pucará and the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
At the end of the visit, we will return to the city of Cusco.

After breakfast at 07:45, pick up from the hotel to depart for the excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, which includes a series of picturesque villages, agricultural terraces and archaeological sites. We will have the opportunity to haggle with the vendors and explore the typical indigenous market of Pisac, where a Catholic mass will be celebrated on Sunday in Quechua, the native language.
Lunch will take place at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon, we will pass through the villages of Calca and Urubamba until we reach the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to protect the entrance to this part of the valley from possible enemies from the lowland forests. This impressive structure consists of a series of superimposed terraces of carved stones, accessible via long stairs. We will have the opportunity to walk through the charming streets of the nearby town, which was a religious and agricultural center during the Inca Empire, and thus better understand the military strategy against possible invasions.
On our way back to Cusco, we will visit the picturesque Andean town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Tupac Inca Yupanqui are located. There, we will be able to admire the well-preserved Inca Wall in the Main Plaza and visit the beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations, which features interesting frescoes in the portico.
At the end of the excursion, transfer to the train station, departure to Machupicchu town, Aguas Calientes.
The day begins early in the morning, when we gather to transfer to the bus station. The excitement is palpable as we head towards the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, a place that arouses the curiosity of many travelers and adventurers. The bus ride to the lost city of the Incas we prepare for a 30-minute bus ride that will take us along a winding 6-kilometer road, surrounded by lush nature.
Finally, we arrive at Machu Picchu, where the majesty of the Inca Citadel welcomes us. We will participate in a guided tour to explore this archaeological site that is a World Heritage Site. The guide will take us to see the Main Plaza, a central space that reflects the grandeur of Inca architecture. Then, we will head to the Circular Tower, a place full of mystery and astronomical significance.
We cannot miss visiting the Sacred Intiwatana, a ritual stone believed to have been used for agriculture and astronomical observation. We will continue our tour to the Royal Quarters, where nobles and dignitaries stayed, and marvel at the Temple of the Three Windows, which offers breathtaking views and exceptional architectural design. We will also explore several cemeteries that tell us stories about the funerary practices of the Incas.
In the afternoon, transfer to the train station and return to the city of Cusco.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima.
Arrival in Lima and connection to Iquitos.
Transfer to our office, where an induction will be given on the tour and the services we offer, as well as the guidelines to follow and the precautions to take into account in the jungle. Afterwards, we will go to the Port of Iquitos to board a speedboat and begin the adventure in one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to observe the “Wedding of the Rivers,” which is the convergence of the Nanay River with the Amazon, and enjoy the impressive landscapes of the Peruvian jungle. Along the way, we will visit Monkey Island, a space dedicated to the protection and conservation of endangered primate species in the Amazon. This family-run organization strives to show visitors the daily work in the process of reintegrating primates into their natural habitat and developing their survival instincts. Here you will be able to appreciate various species of monkeys that live freely in this reserve, where their permanence will depend on their ability to readapt to nature.
We will continue the journey until we reach the Heliconia Lodge, where you will experience the exotic flavors of the Amazon with a refreshing drink made from local fruits. After room assignment, we will enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, we will take a guided walk of approximately two hours, during which you will be able to identify various species of flora, such as Heliconia flowers, medicinal plants and giant trees. You will also have the opportunity to observe several species of birds, such as the Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura) and the Black Fronted Nunbird (Monasa Atia), as well as small monkeys such as the marmosets (Saguinus fusicollis), the Titi (Callicebus moloch moloch) and the squirrel monkey (Saimiri boliviense).
We will return to the lodge to enjoy a well-deserved rest in the hammocks on the banks of the majestic Amazon or relax by the pool. At dusk, you will experience an idyllic moment during the Amazon sunset. At night, we will enjoy a magical open boat ride through one of the tributaries of the Amazon River, surrounded by the flashes of flora and fauna, as well as the splendor of the moon, stars and constellations. If you spot a shooting star, which are common in this region, you can make a wish as you watch its brilliant path. Dinner.
Rise early for the Morning Bird Watching. In order to see the birds flocked together during their morning feeding time, you will start very early going by boat to one of the several streams to look out for a number of varieties of Amazon birds. You will be looking out for birds such as the Tuki (Jacana Jacana), Ringed Kingfisher (Ceryle- Torquata), Black-Collared Hawk (Busarellus nigricollis), among others. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for a scrumptious and energizing breakfast. Take a little rest, and then we will visit a riverside village to see an indigenous tribe of the Yaguas community where you will have the opportunity to learn and see their way of life along the Amazon River. See their homes, school, church, shops. Interact with the people, learn their techniques of fishing and farming. Observe their customs and tradition, and get enlightened by their unaffected and austere way of living. Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will set off to a Native Fishing expedition unto one of the small tributaries of the Amazon River. Learn the local techniques of fishing and for the most daring you can try to fish for Piranhas. If you are lucky you have your catch cooked for dinner, when you return to the Lodge. During this excursion you can also have the opportunity to look out for the Pink River Dolphin (Inia Geoffrensis). In the evening, consider the Night Hike. Go on an enchanting evening trek within the secure periphery of the Lodge and you will witness the entrancing transformation from daytime to a night atmosphere. As you adjust to the dark environment you will appreciate the rainforest takes on a very different character and be aware of the existence and habits of nocturnal jungle animals. It’s the best time to see stunning tree frogs, shy snakes, and other rainforest creatures that only come out at night. Notice a range of completely distinctive fauna from the day as you listen to magical sounds of insects, birds, jungle cats and night owls. After 30 minutes of hike we back to the Lodge for Dinner.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before we will board the boat towards a lake in Yanamono Island where you will be able to glimpse the Giant Water Lily, the Victoria Regia, the “Queen of water lilies”. Now renamed Victoria Amazonica, these native flora in the shallow waters of the Amazon River basin are mostly found in oxbow lakes and bayous. You may see some flowers that are white as they bloom on the first night some that have turned pink on the second night after blooming. They can grow to 40 cm in diameter, and are pollinated by scarab beetles. Victoria Amazonica is well known for its huge circular leaves, which are often pictured with a small child sitting at the center of its leaf to display their size and strength. Return to the Lodge for lunch and check-out. After lunch, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Iquitos City and according to your departure, transfer to the airport.
